Several injured in blast

Guwahati, Apr 8 (UNI) Several people were injured in a blast triggered by suspected militants at Bharalumukh in Guwahati this evening.

Police sources said the blast occurred at 1735 hrs near the 6th Gate in the Kumarpara area under Bharalumukh police station.

Preliminary reports here said at least six people were injured in the blast. One of them was reported to be in critical condition.

Senior police officials have rushed to the spot.

Details are awaited.
