Saints to take out 'Hindu Ekta Yatra' to support BJP
Ayodhya, Apr 8 (UNI) Coming out in support of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Sabha election, thousands of saints and 'dharma acharyas' will take out a 'Hindu Ekta Yatra' from the city on April 10.
''In the 15-day yatra, the saints will tour Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Barabanki, Ambedkarnagar and others districts to convince people to vote in favour of the BJP,'' Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) state media incharge Sharad Sharma said here today.
The 'yatra' will be joined by Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas president Nritya Gopal Das, Digambar Akhara Mahant Suresh Das, Jagatguru Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand and VHP president Dr Ashok Singhal.
The 'yatra' would conclude on April 25.
