Production of Marathi Films should be encouraged: Manjrekar

Kolhapur, Apr 8 (UNI) Noted director Mahesh Manjrekar today said efforts should be made to help the ailing Marathi film Industry regain its popularity.

Talking to reporters here, Manjrekar suggested that leading Marathi Film personalities, engaged in Bollywood, should take to producing Marathi films to bring it on the right track again.

''Marathi films are not only under pressure from Hindi films, but response from the viewers is dwindling as well'', he said.
