President left after one-day visit to Karnataka
Bangalore, Apr 8: President A P J Abdul Kalam left here this evening to New Delhi after a day's visit to the State of Karnataka.
During his tour, Mr Kalam participated in the 100th birth day celebration of Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Math in Tumkur, 65 km from here before leaving for Mysore.
In Mysore, Mr Kalam visited Infosys campus and interacted with Trainee professionals. He also dedicated the new facility of JSS-Bharat's Linear Accelerator Centre and inaugurated a three-day National Seminar on 'Religion, Spirituality and Education in the Challenging globalised world at St Philomena College on the eve of College's Diamond Jubilee.
