President leaves after one-day visit to State
Bangalore, Apr 8 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam left for New Delhi this evening after a day's visit to Karnataka.
During his tour, Dr Kalam participated in the 100th birth day celebration of Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganga Math in Tumkur, 65 km from here before leaving for Mysore.
In Mysore, he visited Infosys campus and interacted with Trainee professionals. He also dedicated the new facility of JSS-Bharat's Linear Accelerator Centre and inaugurated a three-day National Seminar on 'Religion, Spirituality and Education in the Challenging globalised world' at St Philomena College on the eve of College's Diamond Jubilee.
