Permanent EPIC centres at 11 taluka headquarters in Goa

Panaji, Apr 8 (UNI) The state government has decided to open permanent Electronic Photo Identity Card (EPIC) centres at all the 11 taluka headquarters in the offices of the mamlatdars of North and South Goa districts with effect from tomorrow.

This was following a directive of the Election Commission, an official communique said here today.

The state will witness elections to its Panchayats on May 5 and to the Legislative Assembly before June 11 this year.
