One naxal die
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Apr 8 (UNI) One naxal was today shot dead, while three Special Police Officers (SPOs) were injured, one of them seriously, in an encounter between police and naxals in Chhattisgarh's Dantewada district, police said.
A police team comprising 80 police personnel -- including CRPF and district police personnel besides SPOs -- had camped at Dharma village last night. The team divided into two groups and left when the naxals unleashed an attack.
Digambar Yadav, Krishna Bhagat and Lakshman Gode were injured.
Digambar's condition was stated to be critical.
