Rekha Mahajan to appear in Sessions Court on Apr 10

Mumbai, Apr 8: Cross-examination of Ms Rekha Mahajan, prime witness of her husband and BJP leader Pramod's murder will continue on the Sessions court on Tuesday.

Pramod's younger brother Pravin Mahajan is the accused in this case.

Ms Mahajan will appear before Additional Session Court Judge S P Davare, who is hearing the murder case.

On last occasion Ms Mahajan was uncomfortable while replying to questions put to her by defence advocate Harshad Ponda related to the ommission in her statement recorded by police on April 27, last year.

Replying to most of the questions, she had said that police had not asked her specific questions and therefore she had not replied accordingly.

Pravin Mahajan has been accused of murdering his elder brother Pramod Mahajan. He had fired three bullets at Pramod Mahajan on April 22 last year following which the latter succumbed to his injuries on May 3 while undergoing treatment at the Hinduja Hospital here. Praveen Mahajan then, surrendered to the Worli police.
