Man dies of sunstroke in Jalgaon

Jalgaon, Apr 8 (UNI) The scorching heat prevailing in this district has claimed one life.

Laxman Tukaram Bhil (35) suffered a sunstroke and died at Amaddein Bhadgaon taluka of this district yesterday, police said.

Laxman had returned home around noon after working in the farms when he suffered a bout of vomitting, sources said. Laxman died before he could be provided medical treatment, sources said.

The district has been witnessing torrid heat with the mercury rising to 45 degrees Celsius in Jalgaon and 46 degrees in Bhusawal on Friday last.
