Installation of CC TVs at Venkateswara temple

Tirupati, Apr 8 (UNI) As a part of the process of strengthening the security at Lord Venkateswara temple here, the IT service provider HCL has been installing CC TVs in and around the temple, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer A P V N Sharma said today.

Addressing the press, Mr Sharma said the installation work would be completed within next 15 days.

He said all vehicles would be thoroughly checked by TTD Vigilance Department at the Alipiri toll gate.

Security would be beefed up at the toll gate to screen the entry visitors entering the temple, he added.
