HP Governor, CM greet people on Easter

Shimla, Apr, 8 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Governor V S Kokje and Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today greeted the people on the occasion of Easter Sunday, which is being celebrated with religious gaiety and fervour throughout the state.

Mr Kokje, in his message, said this is the day when Jesus Christ conquered death and return to life. ''Easter Sunday is a day to remember a great life of Jesus Christ and his sacrifices.'' In his message, the Chief Minister said Easter was the day of joy for the world community, irrespective of the religions they followed.
