Govindacharya admitted to hospital for head injury

New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) Former BJP General Secretary and Sangh Pracharak K N Govindacharya was today admitted to a private hospital with head injury.

Close associates said Mr Govindacharya sustained the injury at Hissar in Haryana after he fell from his bed in the wee hours today.

Initially it was felt that the injury was casual and did not require any immediate medical attention but when he slipped into unconciousness he was moved to Appollo hospital by his associates for treatment.

Sources said Mr Govindacharya, considered as thinktank of BJP, had clot in the brain and was kept under observation in the ICU.

However, he has regained conciousness, and his condition is stated to be stable, sources said.
