Four US soldiers killed in Iraq: Military

Baghdad, Apr 8: Four American soldiers were killed by an explosion near their vehicle in Diyala province north of Baghdad, the US military today said.

In a statement, the military said the incident occurred yesterday. Another soldier was wounded, it added.

Diyala is one of the most volatile provinces in Iraq.

More than 3,270 American soldiers have been killed in Iraq since the 2003 invasion.
