Blast victims' bodies handed over to relatives

Puducherry, Apr 8 (UNI) The mortal remains of the two blast victims at Chendur near Tindivanam yesterday, were handed over to relatives after post-mortems here today.

Of the 11 admitted to the JIPMER, two succumbed to their injuries yesterday and the condition of the others was stable, hospital sources said here today.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Railways R Velu, Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi, former minister C V Shanmugham and Tamizhar Desiya Iyyakkam leader Pzha Nedumaran visited the injured people at the hospital.

Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Anbumani Ramdoss is scheduled to visit the injured later in the day.
