Air Show in Panambur beach by IAF enthrals spectators

Mangalore, Apr 8 (UNI) Superb Air Show by Indian Air Force (IAF) in Panambur beach enthralled thousands of spectators here today.

The 20-minute display twice in the morning and afternoon with variety of manoeuvre including splits, level and rolling cross inverted runs and the heart loop by nine Aircraft emitting tri colour made viewers spellbound.

Variety of aircraft formations including routine turns, wingovers, loops and barrel rolls.

The Show was organised to commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of IAF. Kiran MK II, indigenouly built basic jet trainer, the Suryakiran Formation Acrobatics team (SKAT) belonging to Indian Air Force rendered this impressive air show.

The show was led by Wing Commander Sandeep Bansal who led the team from the front.

Defence Spokesperson said that similar Air Show would be held in Cochin on April 14-15, Thiruvananthapuram on April 17 and 18, at Chennai on April 21 and 22 at Madurai on April 24 and 25.

UNI
