Kerala: 7 hospitalised after inhaling poisonous gas
Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 8: Seven workers of the English Indian Clay Factory here were hospitalised after they inhaled poisonous gas leaking out from the factory, police said.
One was admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital and the others were admitted to a private hospital, they said and added that no one was critical.
The poisonous gas erupted after water fell on the Sodium Hydrosulphate, a cleaning chemical, stored in the factory, they added.
Fire also erupted after this but was extinguished before it could spread to neighbouring areas.
