6 Bangladeshis killed, 11 arrested on Indo-Pak border in Jammu

Jammu, Apr 8 (UNI) Border Security Force personnel today shot dead six Bangladeshi nationals trying to cross the International Border (IB) at the Arnia sector near here in Jammu and Kashmir, a senior police official said.

Five Bangladeshis were killed while trying to cross IB at Nikowal post, where as one Bangladeshi was shot dead and another arrested at Budhwal post in the Arnia sector, SSP Border Rajinder Gupta told UNI.

Meanwhile, police have arrested ten other Bangladeshi nationals from Sai area near IB in Arnia, Mr Gupta informed.

''They have been taken by Army for questioning,'' he added.

A BSF patrol also arrested an Indian Muslim while he was trying to infiltrate into Indian territory from Pakistan, he informed.
