We accept MCD poll verdict with humility: Cong

New Delhi, Apr 7: The Congress today expressed its disappointment at the MCD poll results and said it had accepted the verdict of the people with humility.

"We are highly disappointed. We accept the verdict with humility," Congress Spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said reacting to the dismal performance of the party in the elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

"Obviously, the electorate has failed to distinguish between the actual sealing operation on the one hand and the innumberable concrete steps taken by the Congress and the UPA Government to solve the people's problems," Mr Singhvi said talking to UNI
