Tessuti forays into branded men's wear segment

Hyderabad, Apr 7 (UNI) Tessuti Garments Private Limited, manufacturers of corporate wear, fashion wear and club wear, announced its entry into rapidly growing high-end branded men's wear segment.

Tessuti Garments Managing Director Ramesh Kothari today said they had already invested Rs 10 crore for making shirts and would invest Rs 8 to 9 crore by July this year to enter the trouser segment.

He said the market for branded men's wear segment, which was estimated at Rs 25,000 crore, was growing at a rate of 15 per cent every year.

The company's Bangalore facility would have latest equipments from Germany, Japan and UK.

Though the current capacity was to produce only five lakh pieces per annum, the company would upscale its Bangalore facility to produce 12 lakhs pieces by June this year.

"The company is committed to manufacture garments that are equal to the best available anywhere in the world," he said.

Mr Kothari said the company plans to establish exclusive outlets in select cities in the near future.
