PM cancels visit to Arunachal

Itanagar, Apr 7 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's proposed maiden two-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh from tomorrow has been cancelled following the political crisis on the leadership issue in the state.

This is the third time in a row that Dr Singh's visit has been cancelled, the first being in October last and the second in February this year.

Dr Singh was likely to inaugurate the newly constructed Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan and unveil a statue of Rajiv Gandhi on the university campus.
