Patliputra Express robbed near Patna

Patna, Apr 7 (UNI) Four people were injured as six armed miscreants robbed passengers of a general coach of the Patna-Hatia Patliputra Express near Bankaghat station under Danapur division of East Central Railway.

Railway police sources today said four passengers sustained injuries when they tried to resist the robbers yesterday.

The six robbers entered the coach at Patnasahib and decamped with cash and goods worth Rs 75,000.

The passengers apprehended a robber when members of the gang were trying to flee and handed him over to Fatuha police station, sources added.
