Dubai: NTPC officials on 3-day visit to Oman
Dubai, Apr 7: Top officials of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), India's largest power generation company,are on a three-day visit to Oman to seek investments from the West Asian countries in the Indian power sector.
The delegation that arrived Oman yesterday, is led by Mr T Sankaralingam, NTPC Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). Other members of the delegation include Mr Harish Chandra, Joint Secretary (Thermal) at the Ministry of Power, Mr Chandan Roy, Director (Operations) and Mr A K Singhal, Director (Finance).
It will make a presentation on the Indian power sector and opportunities for the investment from West Asian countries in the NTPC before selected invitees today, Oman Observer said.
The NTPC is one of the foremost power generation companies, having an installed capacity of 26,404 MW with comprehensive in-house capabilities in building and operating power projects.
