Major administrative reshuffle in HP

Shimla, Apr 7 (UNI) In a major administrative reshuffle, the Himachal Pradesh Government today ordered the transfer of eight IAS and twenty-five HAS officers in the state, official sources said.

The Government had also ordered the transfer of one Indian Forest Service officer besides giving additional charge to one IAS officer.

The sources said of the eight IAS officers transferred, Education Secretary Ashwani Kapoor has been posted as new HPMC and AIPL Managing Director.

HP State Electronics Development Corporation MD Onkar Sharma would now hold the charge of Director Transport and Tourism, relieving Tarun Shridhar and S K Baldi of these departments.

Bilaspur Deputy Commissioner Manesh Garg has been posted as the new MD of the HP Electronics Development Corporation and Director Information Technology, the sources said.

Department Enquiry Commissioner J S Rana has been named Shimla Settlement officer, reliving P C Kashyap of this charge.

The sources said Kangra ADC Nandita Gupta has been transferred as Additional Secretary Health and Director Health Mission, while Naggar AC Development cum BDO C Paulrasu has been transferred as SDO (C) Kangra and would also hold the additional charge of Kangra RTO.

Kunihar AC Development cum BDO Ms Mamta has been transferred as Dehra SDO (C) Dehra, district Kangra, while Indira AC Development and BDO Indora Ms Priyanka Basu would now be Theog SDO (C) Theog.

The sources said Principal Secretary Town and Country Planning Prem Kumar has been given additional charge of Cooperation Department, reliving Avay Shukla of the charge.

Chief Conservator of Forest Sushil Chandra Srivastava (IFS), would now hold the charge of HPSC-ST Development Corporation MD and Mahila Vikas Nigam, Solan, reliving Ajai Bhandri of his additional charge.
