Jammu sex scandal case to be heard on April 24

Chandigarh, Apr 7 (UNI) A local court today recorded the statement of a minor girl, who is CBI's prime witness in the sensational Jammu sex scandal and fixed April 24 as the next date to continue the process.

District and Sessions Judge B S Mehendiratta held in-camera recording of the lengthy statement of the minor girl, produced by the CBI probing the case involving influential people, which however, remained incomplete and would be taken up on April 24.

According to reliable sources, the girl presented as one of the victims of the sex-ring, identified 12 of the 14 accused.

She turned hostile regarding her earlier statement against former Jammu and Kashmir Additional Advocate General Anil Sethi and a businessman Mehrazuddin Malik, sources said.
