Isolated rain in coastal Karnataka

Bangalore, Apr 7 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today. Isolated rain occurred over Coastal Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over South Interior Karnataka. Chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Joida 1.

Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at many places being appreciably so at a few places over the State.

Gulbarga recorded the highest maximum temperature of 40.8 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Mainly dry weather may prevail over the State.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of the State.

Local forecast: Partly cloudy. Maximum temperature would be around 36 degree celsius.
