Election Commission crossing limits: Mulayam
Etawah, Apr 7: Training guns at the Election Commission (EC), Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today alleged the EC is crossing all limits by being 'too strict.' ''The EC is an independent body, but it is painful it has become a government machinery...,'' SP chief said after casting vote at his native village Saifai.
Being strict is acceptable, but the EC is crossing limits by being very strict, the former defence minister alleged.
Mr Yadav further claimed to win at least 40 seats in the phase I of election to 62 assembly constituencies today.
