Chappell taken to Bombay Hospital for check-up
Mumbai, Apr 7: The outgoing Indian cricket team coach Greg Chappell was today taken to the Bombay Hospital here for a check-up, sources informed. Chappell was supposed to leave tonight with his wife for Singapore but had postponed the journey by a day due to illness and was taken to the Bombay Hospital in south Mumbai for a check-up, hospital sources said. Dr Ashishkumar Tiwari, spokesperson of Bombay Hospital, told reporters that Chappell had been brought to the hospital ''for a check-up'' and he had not been admitted.
''He was brought to the hospital and has been receiving a check-up at the hospital. He has not been admitted and there is presently no cause for concern,'' Tiwari said.
Chappell would leave the hospital after the check-up, he added.
