Boy dies in wall collapse

Surat, Apr 7 (UNI) A 16-year old boy died on the spot today when an under construction wall of NCH quarters building in the New Civil Hospital campus, fell on him.

Khadarbahi Shaukhabhai Mahida, of Rajasthan, was engaged in constructing a wall along with other labourers when the mishap occurred, sources said.

The boy was rushed to NCH immediately but was declared dead on arrival.

Police have registered a case against the contractor of the building, sources added.
