Bomb found on ULFA 'raising day'

Guwahati, Apr 07 (UNI) An IED, weighing about 10 kg, was recovered in Sivasagar district in upper Asom today.

Police said villagers spotted the bomb under a culvert in Bengenabari Teokhabi village, about 7 km from Sonari town in the district, early this morning.

Bomb experts later defused it.

Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been put in place in view of the banned ULFA's 'raising day' today.
