Patiala, Apr 7 (UNI) Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, who is facing graft case registered by the Parkash Singh Badal Government in infamous Ludhiana City Centre scam is expected to return to India from London on April 9.

Mr Singh will arrive at delhi around 0915 hrs, Punjab Youth Congress, President Vijay Inder Singla told UNI here.

The Vigilance Bureau had booked Capt Singh, former Punjab Minister Jagjit Singh, Ludhiana Improvement Trust Chairman P S Sibia and 15 others in the case.

Since Capt Singh and his wife Perneet Kaur, MP, had sought pre-arrest bail from the Punjab and Haryana High Court, which was granted, till July 30, there was no possibility of the Vigilance Bureau sleuths arresting him.

Capt Singh on his arrival here on April 10 will go to Ludhiana and surrender, Mr Singh said.

The Vigilance Bureau, which had earlier moved an application for search of Moti Mahal, the private residence of Capt Singh, had later withdrawn the plea from the court.

Meanwhile, Mr Singla, said party workers will welcome Capt Singh at Delhi airport. Mr Singla, who left for Delhi this afternoon, also said Capt Singh will get justice from the court and come clean in the ''false graft case'' registered against him.

A group of Congress legislatures loyal to Capt Singh was also preparing to give their leader a grand welcome to show their solidarity with him.
