44 per cent cast vote in UP LS bypoll

Lucknow, Apr 7 (UNI) An estimated 44 per cent of the electorate today cast votes in the Bilhaur Lok Sabha bypoll today.

The bypoll was necessitated after sitting Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP was disqualified following the 'cash-for-question' scam exposed by a private news channel.

A total of 12 candidates are in the fray in the bypoll and the results will be declared on May 11, along with those of the assembly elections.
