248 blood samples test positive for drugs in Pune rave party case

Pune, Apr 7 (UNI) Pune Rural Police today confirmed that 248 of the 287 blood samples taken from the revellers at a 'rave party' held at a rural area in Pune a month ago have tested positive for drugs.

The Pune Rural Police had raided a private hotel in Khanapur area and arrested nearly 290 persons including 29 girls, who were later released on bail.

The youngsters, mostly college-going students, had come from different parts of the country after receiving invites on a social networking website.

The decision on the action to be taken against the ones whose samples tested positive will be known by this evening, police said.
