Two municipal workers drowned in sewage water

Hubli, Apr 6 (UNI) Two workers of the City Corporation were drowned when sewage gushed into the manhole in which they had entered to clear a clog here this afternoon.

Corporation officials said the duo entered into the 15 ft manhole to carry out repairs but sewage water gushed in a sudden drowning both of them.

The dead were identified as Pradeep (38) and Shivaputra Bellary (34). The bodies were fished out by the fire brigade personnel.
