Two more detained under NSA in arms smuggling case

Chennai, Apr 6 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu 'Q' branch police today detained two more persons under the National Security Act (NSA) in connection with the smuggling of arms and iron balls to Sri Lanka.

The duo, Ravanan of Sivaganga and Raju of Rameswaram, arrested along with a few others were currently lodged in Central Prison, Tiruchirapalli.

The Q branch police officials served the NSA detention orders to them in the prison.

With this, the number of people detained under the NSA in connection with the case has reached 17, police said.
