Three held on charges of murdering Software Engineer

Bangalore, Apr 6 (UNI) Police today arrested three persons in connection with the murder of a 24 year-old Software Engineer, a native of Meerut in UP and recovered the body from Cauvery river in Shivanasamudra.

Police said Manoj Kumar alias Ram Lal, working as a trainee in EMC-2 Private Limited here, was taken to the picnic spot by his office attender and a friend Syed Mubasirulla (20) on March 31 and murdered him, a press release by Commissioner of Police said today.

On receiving a complaint from Manoj's uncle police took up the investigation and arrested Syed Mubasirulla who confessed that he along with Adil Beg and Mohamod Yasin murdered him with a boulder while he was drinking water in the river.

The trio left the body after robbing the Credit cards and mobile phone. By using the Credit Card Syed had withdrawn Rs 18,000 from an ATM and had purchased cloths in a mall.

The robbed Credit Card, ATM Card and Mobile phone were recovered from the trio. Manoj was studying MTech in Delhi and has joined EMC-2 two months back and was a trainee.
