Tarigami for 3rd RTC to discuss recommendations of WGs
Jammu, Apr 6 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir State Secretary of CPI (M) and Member Legislative Assembly Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has demanded Prime Minister Manmohan Singh involve all shades of political opinion in the dialogue process.
He said in a letter to the Prime Minister whatever the mode of their participation, whether along with others, or separately, the issue needs to be debated on a broader compass to make it more purposeful and broad-based.
As the contours of the dialogue widen and credible measures are taken to address the genuine aspirations of the people, hopes would soar high, he wrote.
The CPM leader said out of the five Working Groups (WGs), four have already held discussions on the subjects assigned and are coming up with recommendations.
''In the second RTC, a third RTC was proposed to be held to consider the recommendation of the five WGs and for this purpose the WGs had been given a period of six months which has come to an end,'' Mr Tarigami said.
''I am of the opinion that without waiting for the recommendations of fifth WG group, third round Table conference be convened to discuss the recommendations of four working groups,'' he stated.
