Subrban services to be affected for 8 hrs from tom midnight
Mumbai, Apr 6 (UNI) Suburban local services will be affected for eight hours from tomorrow night due to major block at Bhayendar Railway station on account of quadrupling work between Borivali and Virar.
Chief Public Relation Officer of WR(CPRO) Pranai Prabhakar today said that due to on going quadrupling project between Borivali and Virar on Mumbai Suburban Section of Western Railway, an important major block has been planned from night of April Seven to early morning of April eight, 2007. During this period, train services will be affected.
He said the major block will be taken on up line of Bhayandar station. The work of commissioning of Bhayandar Terminal will also be executed simultaneously.
Mr Prabhakar also stated that last regular local for Virar will leave Churchgate at 2255 hrs tomorrow. Thereafter, there will be no suburban services from Churchgate to Virar sector till 0530 hrs of April eight, except two special services at 2358 hrs tomorrow and 0050 hrs on April eight. Similarly, last regular service from Virar tomorrow will be at 2130 hrs for Churchgate.
Thereafter, there will be no suburban services in up direction till 0610 hrs on April eight, except one special service which will depart from Virar at 0010 hrs for Churchgate.
The Mail/Express trains arriving Mumbai on April eight morning will be regulated on Valsad-Virar section and delayed by one to four hours. However, there is no change in the scheduled departure of long distance trains tomorow leaving from Mumbai Central/Bandra Terminus.
