Ms Uma was welcome to rejoin BJP: Babulal Gaur

Bangalore, Apr 6 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Babulal Gaur today said Ms Uma Bharati was welcome to rejoin the party if she preferred it.

Speaking to UNI here he said that he would support the firebrand leader to rejoin the party if the central party leaders feel it right to bring back the expelled leader.

Former BJP President L K Advani, earlier this week, reportedly sounded bringing back Ms Bharati into the party saying that "all those former BJP leaders who believe in Hindutva should reunite." "As a loyal worker of the party I welcome it. She had to go because of her own ego problems," he added.

Criticising the UPA government's move to introduce sex education in schools, he said the state government had to ban it as it was 'undesirable' and it was against the Indian tradition.

"There is no need learn about sex by the school children at such an young age. We, infact, want to teach them Vande Mataram, Yoga and Physical Training. There is no need for 'Kama Shastra' in schools.

Moreover, the students and their parents are also against it. 75 per cent of population in Madhya Pradesh is rural. There are infact agitated over such move. They are actually shocked," he added.

Mr Gaur, who is now the Industries and Commerce Minister, was in the city to woo the industry to invest in MP.
