Kalam to inaugurate JSS-Bharath Linac Centre

Mysore, Apr 6 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam, who pays a day's visit to Karnataka on April Eight, will inaugurate JSS-Bharath Linac Centre and Curie Centre of Oncology here.

Later Mr Kalam would address a seminar on 'Religion Spirituality and Education in Challenging Globalised World', at St.Philomena's College on the eve of its Diamond Jubilee.

Immediately after his arrival in Bangalore, Mr Kalam would participate in the Birth Centenary celebration of Swamiji Shivakumara of Siddaganga Mutt, Tumkur.

Addressing the media persons Chairman of the Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology, Dr Jai Kumar, said that the Curie Centre of Oncology which would have a dual energy high end liner accelerator, provides focused therapy with very few side effects and meets the highest international standards.

He said the Linac Centre with its the state-of-the-art equipment and facilities was the vision of JSS-Bharath Charitable Trust that would provide very high end oncology care.
