Gang involved in robbery of railway safety boards nabbed
Anand, Apr 6 (UNI) Anand Railway Protection Force(RPF) sleuths have arrested a gang involved in robbery of aluminium safety boards (light reflectors), kept for train drivers.
Police said the five-member gang comprising Arvind Pratap Chavda, Baldev Soma Solanki, Natu Dalpat Darbar, Suresh Bhagat Chauhan and Bharat Chhagan Solanki, was selling the stolen boards to two traders, Raju Mohan Shah and Ashok Maheshwar. Both the traders have also been arrested.
So far, aluminium boards worth Rs 90,000 have been stolen in last eight months from Anand-Kheda railway line. Each board costs around Rs 4,000.
