Five day National Youth Camp helds in Tripura
Agartala, Apr 6(UNI) A five-day national youth camp will be held from May 12 at Kalachara under Sabroom sub-division of Tripura's south district.
In the proposed camp, more than 300 youths from all over the country are expected to participate. It would continue till May 16.
The camp would be organised jointly by Tripura State Council of National Youth project and the state government.
A 35-member Advisory Committee has been formed to conduct the camp with state Rural Development Minister Jitendra Chowdhury as its chief advisor.
A number of programmes have been chalked out for the five-day camp, which include xvarious sports, voluntary labour, exchange of language and culture among others. The camp would focus on building national intergrity of the younger generation.
A preparatory meeting was held on April 2 at Kalachara in this connection under the presidentship of Satchand Block Advisory Committee Chairman Chandicharan Tripura where SDO Dilip Kumar Chakraborty was also present.
