Efforts on to rescue child from borewell in Bikaner

Bikaner, Apr 6 (UNI) Efforts are on in a war footing to take out a child who fell into a 150-feet bore well in Adsar village under Sridungargarh teshil in Bikaner district.

According to police the one and half year old girl Sarika fell in an open dry borewell in the village yesterday evening.

Doubts were also being expressed over the survial of the child after spending so many hours in the well.

The district administration sought help from the army, who along with the villagers is working against time to rescue the child.

Divisional commissioner Vinod Kapoor, senior offcials of the district administration were supervising the rescue efforts.
