55-year-old woman found dead

Guntur, Apr 6 (UNI) A rich widow, I Mangamma (55), was found dead in her apartment in the posh Lakshmipuram area here today.

According to the police, the woman,Mangamma, who was living alone, might have died three or four days ago.

As foul odour was eminating from the house neighbours reported to the police, who broke open the doors this morning, police added.

The decomposed body was found in a pool of blood in the kitchen.

Mangamma's husband died one year ago. Her son and daughter were employed in the US.

Police registered a case of murder.
