15 SPs transferred in Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Apr 5 (UNI) In a major reshuffle, the Orissa government today transferred as many as sixteen IPS officers effecting changes in the Superintendents of police ranks in 15 districts.

According to an official circular, Rourkela's Superintendent of Police K D Sambhaji has been transferred to Jajpur in place of A K Panigrahi, who was posted to Puri as SP.

Mr Panda was shifted to Bargarah to replace N B Bharathi, who was given charge as SP-I, CID, Crime Branch, Cuttack, in place of Vinaytosh Mishra, who was deputed to Commerce and Transport Department with immediate effect.

Naxalite dominated Malkangiri's Superintendent of Police H K Lal was transferred to Bolangir while the Superintendent of police Kandhamal was posted to Malkangiri.

Balasore SP P S Ranpise was shifted to Kendrapara in place of S Parida, who was transferred to Railway Police at Rourkela. The SPs of Dhenkanal, Jaharsuguda, Sonepur, Mayurbhanj and Boudh were also transferred in today's reshuffle.
