Withdraw minority benefits to Muslims in Maharashtra: VHP

Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad Secretary Vyankatesh Abdeo today demanded that all minority benefits to Muslims in Maharashtra should be withdrawn.

In a statement here, Prof Abdeo welcomed the Allahabad High court's judgement that said Muslims were no more a minority in Uttar Pradesh.

On the same grounds, in Maharashtra also all the benefits of minority community accorded to Muslims should be withdrawn, he added.
