Tantia constructions bags order worth Rs 151 crores

Kolkata, Apr 5 (UNI) Tantia Constructions Limited, a leading construction company, has bagged orders worth Rs 151 crores for a number of infrastructure projects in the road and rail sectors in Eastern India.

Of them, a CPWD Road project worth Rs 113 crores in Bihar's Buxar and Bhabua districts had been awarded to Tantia construction.

The scope of work include construction of state highways and their up-gradation for linking them to the National Highway. The project also aims to improve accessibility to the GT Road and the Delhi-Kolkata NH-2.

The other infrastructure projects include an East Central Railway (ECR) Road Flyover in Patna to ease transport bottlenecks in greater Patna and an Eastern Railway(ER) project that comprises two bridges at Kalinarayanpur for a new railway line.

Both the projects worth Rs 19 crores each.

Tantia Constructions Limited has reported a turnover of Rs 162 crores last fiscal and had orders worth about Rs 1200 crore in hand.

Some of the recent projects completed by Tantia Construction include Railway tunnels in Assam, Sugar Mill construction for Balrampur in March this year and construction parts of National Highway in Mizoram, company sources here today said.
