Sound technician's body found at director's farm house

Chennai, Apr 5 (UNI) The body of a middle-aged cine sound effects technician was found under mysterious circumstances in a swimming pool at a farm house owned by film director Shankar at suburb Neelangkari here today.

Police said the deceased was identified as Sachu hailing from Saligram in the city.

Sachu was one among the invitees, who attended the dinner party hosted by Mr Shankar at his farm house 'Shangi', to celebrate the successful completion of the shooting of AVM's mega budget film 'Shivaji' starring actor Rajinikanth.

Police said Mr Rajinikanth, other actors and technicians also attended the party.

The body of Sachu was found in the swimming pool by the farm house staff this morning.
