SBBJ officer found murdered

Bikaner, Apr 5 (UNI) A State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ) senior official was found dead at his residence here today.

According to the police, Dr Alok Gupta, deputy manager at the SBBJ's zonal office, was found murdered at his residence. He was apparently hit by a press on his head.

Gupta's wife and invalid sister were also found unconscious and were admitted to a hospital. Despite gaining consciousness, Gupta's sister was not able to explain anything.

Police said wardrobes and cupboards in the house were open and the house was in a mess.

Suspisions point towards the servant who is absonding.

It is being presumed that the servant mixed some poisonous substance in the food.

A case has been registered.
