Sandip Das to head Aircel's mgmt team

New Delhi, Apr 5 (UNI) Aircel Ltd today announced its senior management team would be headed by Mr Sandip Das, Maxis Chief Executive Officer, who recently joined the Aircel board as Director-in-Charge for Indian operations.

The management transition follows the resignation of Mr Jagdish Kini as Chief Executive Officer.

''We have begun our search for the new Chief Executive Officer and other national positions in marketing, customer service and so on,'' Mr Das said.

He added that the company was confident to built a strong India-based top management team that will work towards making Aircel a formidable telecommunications service provider in the next few weeks, with the existing senior management team.
