Offence registered against Bhatia hospital: Hasan Mushrif

Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) Minister of State for Law and Judiciary Hasan Mushrif today said an offence had been registered against Bhatia hospital here for not providing free health services to poor people.

Replying to a discussion, initiated by Madhu Chavan (BJP), Mr Mushrif said the government would check the non-availability of free service to poor people in charitable hospitals and take necessary action against the erring hospitals.

All the 92 charitable hospitals except Bhatia hospital were providing free services, he said.

The High Court had appointed a committee on this issue, he added.
